As stated by each shop. Thank you, come again.
The till uses each shop's cheapest priced delivery option and its published free-delivery threshold. Some US shops only show postage at checkout, so we print "price at checkout" rather than invent one.
When topping up makes sense
If the gap is smaller than the postage, topping up costs you less than paying for delivery, as long as it's something you'd buy anyway. Lube, toy cleaner and batteries are the classic fillers: you'll use them, and they don't go off fast.
When it doesn't
- The gap is bigger than the postage. Just pay the delivery.
- You need it fast. Free delivery is almost always the slowest option. If it's for the weekend, the express fee might be the point.
- You're splitting an order to keep it quiet. One parcel is more discreet than two, so that's an argument for one bigger order, not against it.
Watch the threshold wording
Thresholds usually apply to standard delivery only, and a discount code can drop you back under the line. If you're close, check the total at checkout before you pay. Each shop's review page lists its delivery options in full: start with all shops.
